Legno Patchouli, Patchouli Wood, celebrates a fusion of memories for Egisto Bertozzi, the perfumer and owner of Erbario Toscano. Egisto attended Palio di Siena, a famous horse race in Siena, Italy, and the excited clamour of people, the sandy earth, and the majestic horses transported him back to a dusty, lively afternoon in Jaipur. While there, Egisto met a perfume merchant, and the merchant took him to gather patchouli in the fields. The similar energies, textures, and scents inspired Egisto to create a fragrance of woody, amber, and earthy notes to honor these people, places, and memories.
