This January, the hearts, hands and eyes of Italian artisans have created new pieces strong in design and color, with warmth and magic like never before.  Join VIETRI on a guided tour of beloved Italy!  Ah Italy.... The Italian lifestyle is adored for its romantic splendor seen through Renaissance-inspired architecture, fine cuisine, and open hearted family – each inspirational in VIETRI’s newest January introductions.

Our tour begins with the Italian seas and the return of VIETRI’s favorite sea pattern, Al Mare, in updated colors.  Now called, Vista del Mare, this dinnerwareincludes glorious handled urns, bowls, bakers and oval plates drenched in the colors and creatures of southern Italy’s seas.  From the sea, we travel inland with City Scenes full of cafés, color and excitement as favorite Italian vehicles dash across salad plates, mugs, and cereal bowls.

From the streets of Italy to the gardens of Tuscany, VIETRI brings you an abundance of lush garden accessories. Roman Garden includes distinguished handformed shapes and richly imaginative paintings of Italian ceramic history.   Six footed planters and one pot comprise Rustic Garden, gorgeously antiqued ceramics in age-muted colors with round handles and worn ribbing and Siena Garden, with bright, jewel-tone glazes on epic pieces.  From southern Italy, VIETRI presents Garden StonesSince the 16th century, stones similar to these have been placed on the walls of new homes and gardens in Italy as symbols of good health and prosperity.

Flowers bloom in the garden and in the home with Bloom and Flora LilacBloom’s flowers and butterflies in lilac, pistachio, and coral appeal to everyone’s love of Spring as Italian artisans shape sturdy terra cotta into accessories that creatively mix-and-match with Flora Lilac, a modern palette of taupe and lilac with bas-relief flowers.

Glass is an important element this January with Art Glass Figures, sculptural glass steeped in the tradition of Murano glass blowing, Rooster Glass, a set of must have pastel glassware and luncheon plates with a proud rooster decoupaged on each piece, and Festival Glass, in rich amber, blue, green and clear, each one oversized and substantial with four circular medallions emblazoned upon each handsome piece with authority.

We hope you join us on this exciting journey!
