VIETRI has always made a strong commitment to reaching out to both local and national charities. Our Giving Committee is 100% employee-run and donates product or money to help those in need, from the American Red Cross to the local chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our focus charities have included Duke Hospice, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Hoop Dreams which provides opportunities for children with life-threatening illnesses to develop socially and physically through athletic training.  We raise funds through our Warehouse and Primavera Sale in Hillsborough, NC and employee donations.  VIETRI prides itself on helping those less fortunate through the work of our many hands.
 

VIETRI Gives Back
 
In 2007, VIETRI began its “Gives Back” Program.  Shoppers at our annual Primavera and Warehouse Sale are asked to sign up a local or national charity. If that charity has at least 10 supporters throughout the duration of the sale, VIETRI donates 10% of the total transactions in product to the organization for use in charity auctions, etc.
 
The program has donated thousands of dollars in product to a variety of local and national charitable organizations. In 2008, VIETRI donated over $30,000 in product to charitable organizations including UNC Children’s Hospital, Duke Children’s Hospital, Operation Smile, American Cancer Society, SPCA, Susan G. Komen and Orange Country Family Violence.
