New Year's ResolutionS

I love the catalyst of a new year to think about my hopes and goals. I want to make the most of 2024, and I want to enjoy it. Here are my three intentions:

1. Stay healthy

I was on the road for Italy on a Plate events for much of 2023, and all the travel can be hard on the body if you’re not taking care of yourself. So, I’m going to prioritize lots of walking, lots of water, and lots of sleep as I head into another busy year.

2. Spend time with family

I kicked this goal off early with a holiday trip to see my stepdaughter, Amanda, in Aspen. My brother is moving to Chapel Hill, and it’s going to be so special to have him and my sister, Frances, both just down the road from me. I see lots of weeknight dinners, walks, and casual gatherings in our future. My side of the family and Bill’s are planning a joint trip overseas for later in the year, and I’m already looking forward to two weeks at the beach with both sides of the family in the summer. Spending time with family is the best investment of time.

3. Continue reading lots

I asked my family to give me their favorite books for Christmas, and I am excited to dig into their most beloved books.

I hope your year ahead is healthy, happy, and full of time with those you love most.

xx,

Susan

    Hello,
I just read your book, Italy on a Plate. I recently went on a trip to Florence and Milan and it was such an inspiration to go back. I love the Campagna designs and look forward to adding more!
Thank you for a wonderful book!
