Event season is upon us! In the coming weeks, VIETRI Founder, Susan Gravely, maestro artisans Cristian Massaro and Gianluca Fabbro, and VIETRI Ambassadors will visit stores across the country to meet you, share inspiration stories, personalize purchases, paint and mold pieces, and more. We look forward to these special opportunities to connect with you every year, and we hope you will mark your calendar to visit a store near you to join in the fun and festivity.

Susan Gravely founded VIETRI with her mother and sister nearly forty years ago, and her passion for designing the most beautiful tabletop, home, and garden accessories is as vibrant as ever. Since its start in 1983, VIETRI has transformed from a small company representing one Italian factory to the largest Italian importing company in the American industry, and this growth has all happened with Susan at the helm. Her business savvy is only rivaled by her warmth and friendliness, and she cherishes the chance to visit stores and meet the wonderful customers for whom she is so grateful. At our Founder Events, you will have the opportunity to have your purchases signed and personalized by Susan, and she will share the stories behind each product’s design.

Maestro artisan Gianluca Fabbro will visit the US from his home in northern Italy in early November. Gianluca began his work in ceramics over 40 years ago, learning the beauty of the craft from his father and grandfather. While studying architecture in Venice at the age of 21, Gianluca’s father became ill, and Gianluca put his studies on hold to take over the family business. Since he was a small boy, Gianluca has always had a passion for painting and creativity. At the Artisan Events, Gianluca will demonstrate his unique sponging technique to handpaint charming designs on various pieces, and he will personalize your purchases with Italian phrases.

We are also thrilled to have maestro artisan Cristian Massaro on our annual Event Tour. Born in Tuscany, Cristian graduated from the Academy of Beaux Arts in Florence in 2017. Since then, he worked as an apprentice to maestro artisan Stefano Roselli. The two collaborated to create some of VIETRI’s most beloved and popular collections. Specializing in drawing, painting, and sculpture, Cristian’s designs are full of passion, intuition, and artistic intelligence. At his events, Cristian will demonstrate how he molds, paints, and he will also personalize purchases.

Last but not least, VIETRI Ambassadors Hali Vradelis and Jody Davis are hitting the road to meet you! They too will share stories of the inspiration behind the products, personalize pieces, and help style your VIETRI purchases.
